Scott talked about fighting for the working families of Mississippi while calling out the hypocrisy of Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith.
Columbus, MS – U.S. Senate Candidate and District Attorney Scott Colom joined MediaTouch with host Ben Meisalas to talk about his United States Senate run.
During the interview, Scott touched on issues that matter most to Mississippians – increasing the minimum wage, eliminating the federal income tax on cops and teachers, and saving the 8 hospitals that are on the risk of shutting down in Mississippi due to Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith’s recent vote.
When asked what Mississippians are concerned about, Scott said: “As a seventh-generation Mississippian, lived in Mississippi most of my life, [Mississippians] are not concerned about DC. They are concerned about their pocketbook issues, they’re concerned about grocery prices – they’re still too high.”
